In just a little over a month, my sweet baby girl will be turning one!!
I’m so excited. Aside from the fact that I love watching her grow up, the idea of being able to plan girl birthday parties is pretty cool, too. Plus, her birthday is in a warm month which means we can finally do some outdoor parties.
Despite my excitement, I’m way behind on my party planning. So behind, that I’ve done absolutely nothing at this point. Yikes! I’d usually be getting ready to send out invitations by now. I think the date came way faster than I expected.
That just means that over the next few days, I’ve got to get on the ball and figure out where the party will be. What we’re going to do. The theme. The invitations. So much to do. So little time.
Here’s some first birthday party eye candy to get my creative wheels turning. Now, if only I had an endless supply of money…

Oh, and in other slacker news…I promised myself last summer that I’d finish painting Christiana’s room before her 1st birthday. It seemed like a reasonable promise at the time. Umm…yeah. Unfortunately, her room still looks like this. (Actually, it looks worse because there’s now potential yard sale stuff everywhere.)
Paint party anyone?

She’s too cute and precious. Are you really using all of these??

I wish I could use all of those ideas. I’ll probably take one or two ideas from a few of them, but my budget will keep me from going all out like these parties.
WOW – where did the time go. I like the Little Miss Sunshine!
Who are you telling–it went by super fast. I like the Little Miss Sunshine too.
What beautiful, creative ideas! I love the bumble bee cake. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Happy 1st Birthday, Christiana!!!
Eye candy is right. Those pictures are dreamy! I love the pink candy stations (I’m doing one for Alivia) and that tiered cake is adorable! Have fun!
