This blog is officially one today. Yeah!!! That means I survived my 1st year of blogging. It hardly seems like it’s been that long, but what a fun ride it’s been! And as I’ve said before, blogging is way more work than it appears. Oh how naïve I was back then.
The idea for Well-Rounded Home all came about because I imagined there had to be more to home life than just sitting in our drab house in front of the t.v. night after night, cooking the same old meals and not doing more fun activities with the kids. I can definitely say I’ve done more in this past year than I ever thought possible. It could be that posting all my crazy shenanigans for the world to see has helped to keep me accountable. Now, instead of just talking about what I’d like to do, I’m actually getting things done.
When I hit publish on that first post last August, I had no clue whether anyone, except maybe my mom, would take the time to read this blog of mine. I don’t check my blog stats often (mostly so I don’t get too caught up in them), but when I do and see that there are readers from all over the country and even in other parts of the world checking in, it just wows me! I’ve so enjoyed reading your comments, getting your emails and checking out your blogs, too. Keep ‘em coming!
